Evigna – 08

Evigna 07 - The Beginning

The word Evigna means “No Barriers”. The Fest aimed at the development and Continuous improvement of Managerial skills in the participants and the Hosts.

Bengalooru Fast Forward was the main theme of Evigna -2007. The events highlighted problems faced by the city. The fest was also marked by a poets' meet, musical evening, painters' camp and photography exhibition.

The light lit by the Cohort – 3 was made to burn this year also by the students of Cohort – 4. Evigna 08 emerged with the theme to Redefine India in a corporate manner and make India dazzle. Hence came the word “In dazzle”

India has outshone herself through the ages, exceeding her own limitations, surpassing her own potential. And we see her now with her past way behind her to where she stands today. But can she be polished further? Can her glitter grow bright enough to dazzle the world?

We, the students of Bhavans- Marshall, believe She can.

We bring to you a blend of the Corporate and Political worlds to tackle issues currently faced by India by running a country on the lines of a company…

This year Evigna was a grand success which had participation of 12 management teams from 11 different colleges.

• The Best Manager event or Prime Minister – Mahaamattya was won by Alliance Business School, Bangalore
Runner’s up – IBA, Bangalore.

• The Human Resource event or Ministry of Human Resources – Manava Samshodhana was won by Alliance Business School, Bangalore
Runner’s up- M.P.Birla Institute of Management, Bangalore.

• The Quiz event or Ministry of Current Affairs - Vyapara Gnana was won by MATS school of Business, Bangalore
Runner’s up- New Horizon Management College

• The Finance Event or Ministry of Finance – Vittasya was won by, MATS Bangalore.
Runner’s up- Alliance Business School.

• The Marketing event or Ministry of Promotion – Viparan was won by , IBA, Bangalore.
Runner’s up- M.P.Birla Institute of Management, Bangalore.

The Fest was a grand success. The theme In dazzle - Redefining India was showcased in all the events.

We thank everybody who contributed to the fest and put in their efforts to make the fest a great Success. Marshallites have shown Great Determination, Grit, Creativity and character while conducting the fest.
